Found your blog regarding LA Solaris/Linu...Adrian,

Found your blog regarding LA Solaris/Linux. One question related to LA1 is the runq-sz. Im having hard times in understanding how one would extract from /proc runq-sz !

I want to use Perl and extract same thing like we do in Solaris: $Kstat->{unix}->{0}->{sysinfo}->{runque}; but
from Linux. So I dont want to call sar for example.

Any ideas how can I get runq-sz from a running Linux system using /proc ? I tried /proc/stat, looking on procs_running but that value did not match the ones from sar.

Any pointers. Thanks.

stefan
www.systemdatarecorder.orgStefan Parvuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00923519694661118248noreply@blogger.com
